9. How should I prepare my skin and hair before the big day?

Makeup: Please ensure your skin is clean and free of makeup. Use your daily moisturizer. Any unwanted hair must please be removed in advance, ie: brows, lip etc. This give a more polished finish as powders grip to hair and show up more. Please try and wear white or a colour similar to your wedding dress as it gives you a better idea of the end look.
Hair: Please wash your hair well the day before, and blow-dry it smooth or straighten it. (This helps to ensure the curls are frizz free and long-lasting) do not use any heavy cream products, gel, or dry shampoo after washing your hair.

10. Can I send you inspiration pictures, and will you help me choose a look?

Yes, we love reference photos! Always be realistic when choosing reference pics of what you have in mind for your hair and makeup.

Take into account your facial features, skin tone, hair colour, length and thickness. Makeup will look different on a pale skin vs tanned and hooded eyes vs almond eyes etc.

Hair will always be shorter when curled. If you choose a big volume hairstyle, but have thin hair you definitely will need extensions. Be mindful of having realistic expectations.

11. Will my makeup last all day — and do you offer touch-ups?

Our makeup application is designed to be long-lasting, with high-performance products and expert techniques that ensure you look flawless from the first photo to the final dance. From morning prep to late-night celebrations, your makeup will hold beautifully through tears, kisses, and joyful moments. However, please note that deliberate interference — such as excessive touching, wiping, or applying other products over the makeup — may affect its longevity, and we cannot be held responsible for any resulting changes.

12. Do you work with all skin tones and hair types?

Yes we are inclusive when it comes to our makeup and hairstyling, however please note: we do not work on synthetic hair, only human hair.

13. I am a solo bride with no bridal party, can you help?

No problem! Brides who are on a budget or wish to have more personalized experience, and make a deliberate choice to prioritize themselves on the day. This bespoke approach is perfect for you. It allows for a dedicated focus on refining every detail of your appearance, ensuring that you feel unique and cherished on your special day.

Please note: When only the bride is booked, additional appointments may be accepted on the same day to optimise time and income. To ensure exclusive availability, we recommend booking full bridal party services.

14. What if I have a larger bridal party?

It is preferable that I focus on the Bride and 2 ladies for hair and makeup, on the wedding day I prefer to be able to spend quality time perfecting the brides look as well as her most important ladies at the wedding. No bride wants to have her hair and makeup rushed. I want to ensure that all bridal party members on the wedding day also feel special. So, if we're short on time, I’ll hire an epic additional artist to help us. Please note that this will incur an additional charge of R750 per stylist/artist, in addition to their travel charge if required.

15. I have a morning wedding or need an early start?

I am happy to help. Please note however, any starting time before 7 am will be charged an additional R500 per hour, due to Au Pair costs that I will incur.

16. What if I am running late on the day?

Life happens and I totally understand. But, as you may not be the only client booked on the day, any extension to the agreed-upon timescale will incur an additional booking fee of R500.00 per hour in UPFRONT, if I am able to assist you.

I value my time, and as such, I kindly request my clients to adhere strictly to the agreed-upon timelines..
